Mark Pavelich Warns Antonio Mckee To Bring It At MFC 32

Mark Pavelich Warns Antonio Mckee To Bring It At MFC 32

Lightweight Champion Antonio McKee (26-4-2) has had an interesting relationship with the Maximum Fighting Championship. After winning the MFC lightweight championship and never losing while defending, McKee has technically held the title on three different occasions.

After successfully defending the MFC lightweight title for the first time, McKee received the UFC calling, a call that would later anger MFC Owner Mark Pavelich. Pavelich ended up stripping the lightweight title but not for long as McKee was cut from the UFC after a split decision loss to Jacob Volkmann at UFC 125.

After taking McKee back as the MFC lightweight champion, Pavelich had been on edge about their previous situations. McKee was slated to defend the title against Drew Fickett but later pulled out due to an injury. Again the title was stripped from McKee for a short period of time.

While still on edge, Pavelich wants to guarantee MFC 32′s main event will not disappoint like MFC 31′s main event. Pavelich even posted on McKee’s personal Facebook page with a warning.

“McKee get ready for this one. I’m not f**king around. I want action, I want you to show what you are really about and we both know what is inside you. I want you to fight mean and pissed off. I need you to shut every idiot critic’s mouth. Win or Lose leave it in the Ring, I want you to go all in on this one.”

Never one to back down from a challenge, McKee answered to the post with a reassuring message to the brash promoter.

“Don’t trip homie. I won’t let u down. I’ve been preparing for war and u got one mad dude coming to Canada may not make it out of the first round.”

McKee has been criticized for not being a fight-finisher. That being noted, McKee is like Tito Ortiz when the back is against the wall.

Antonio McKee will put his title on the line against Brian “The Bandit” Cobb (19-6) at MFC 32: Bitter Rivals on January 27, 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta. For more information, visit MaximumFighting.com.
