First we got on a man who is making a name for himself in MMA. Gabe first started out as a Strongman Competitor, placing 5th in the NASS Teenage National Championships. One day, while lifting weights at his local gym, he was invited to a small Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class in the gym by the coach, Richard Jessee. Gabe went, and was completely embarrassed by Rich. He immediately fell in love with BJJ, and was determined to learn it. Eventually, his passion for BJJ evolved into his first MMA fight in Roanoke, VA and he’s been hooked ever since! We got plenty to talk to Gabe about including his upcoming fight on Dec. 3rd on HDTV for XFO! Ricardo Lamas is a man that you want to keep an eye on. With a record of 9-1 and his only loss coming from Danny Martinez. Ricardo has been on the mat for a while and even was a National Champ, did I say he racked up more then a 100 wins while doing so? Ricardo will be one of a few fighters performing on the last WEC card. Ricardo will face Yuri Alcantara, so you know we have plenty to talk about with Ricardo from fighting in the last WEC, to dominating on both mats!
